My Six-Word story is "Strive For Positivity, Accept Your Surroundings".  This is expressing that you should accept your surroundings for what it is and be positive while doing so. This is showing a way to be positive and thrive in your learning environment. If you'r negative about your surroundings being positive could be a great way to change your look about it and your determination for working in that space.
My first shot was My first shot is a close up of my feet to show movement and carry momentum through the story. My second shot was a Dark Voyer to show environment and the space that I'm/Subject's in. My third shot is a point of view of me opening the door into the school to show the setting for the rest of my shots. My fourth shot is a wide shot of the student plaza to show the area that the shots are taking place. My fifth shot is a Extreme angle of me walking up the main staircase to show me moving to another area. My sixth shot is a wide/Medium shot of me standing in the library as people walk by to show my surroundings which blends with my Six-Word story.
One lesson I learned is its good to experiment with different shots because some shots might work better in a situation than another shots will. Its also good to give yourself a good amount of time to film because if you rush your end product will be effected. One challenge I had was deciding what shot I should use in the setting to get the most detail and information while not giving to much and still having the main focus on the main subject/Me. I am very happy with my end product and the way that my video flowed and transitioned even with as little editing it has. Overall the project was a great way to learn and understand the shots, yet I would have liked it if we could have used a few more shots to express the same action. One of my favorite things about the project was the way we learned all the 19 shots, By filming them and getting a feel for them to see if we liked them. Some advice for future students doing this project is too get the filming done efficiently and well because if your footage is not how you like it or bot good than you will have a hard time trying to fix it and edit it while most likely you can't and you'll have to re-shoot.
